Thanks. I think you will receive cards within two weeks as we were also told that cards would be delivered in 4 weeks but we received them in two weeks only.

SCANNING - while checking the whole process of issuing PR CARDS, I notice that scanning comes at the final stage of printing of cards. I am sure that cards will be mailed to you very soon.

Dear Ali,

Cards were received on 138th day after landing. In my case all 5 cards were received together (on the same date).
It seems that files under verification takes almost same time ( between 110 to 150 days).

Since cards were received by my son, I don't know when they were posted by CIC. Does the envelope show the date they were posted ?, if yes, I can check it with my son and let you know.

In my case, they said my cards were dispatched on Thursday, and i got it on next day i.e. Friday - i am not sure who was true whether the lady at CIC or the person who updated the information on the database - mostly it was dispatched much earlier than that but information was updated wrongly (not the exact date of dispatch) --

BTW, i landed as PR on March 7th and i received my card on July 25th - so it took 20 weeks to get my PR card !!

called cic this morning, no update. said if not received the card by Sep 4th, call them again, will send a request to verification department for me.

the mistake is the office forget the date and port on my daughter's landing paper, but we should wait it for a long time now..
