PR Card Arrival Timeline?

Been here for 6 weeks, any idea when I should get my PR Card?

I landed on 11/11/11 and got PR card on 01/05/12

Hi,

Congrats! But did you get the photos date stamped or written by photographer. Nobody has the stamp and the photographer says they write the date on the back of the photo. Is that okay? Could you please answer?

The photos were stamped.

Date is enough. Believe me or not, I went to buffalo VO handed in two photos without nothing on the back. End up, they attached one with COPR and returned me another one.

I have a similar question.

I am waiting for my permanent residence to go through in Bufallo. Hopefully in mid February. I am hoping to go away for spring break and want to know if there is a way i can get my pr card in time or is it possible to travel as a tourist to the country and then say sorry at imigration on the return trip? UK passport might help?
