Seniors. Can i land in canada and than move back to my country and ask someone to courier my PR card? Do I need to be present while my PR card is in process? Someone told me that they might call you at random during the process, is that correct.

I assume the visa is single entry and in case I land in May and decide to go back and wish to return to canada in November, i would need my PR card, is that correct? What other options do I have.

Please help!!!

A: Yes toy can do that, and ask them to courier the PR card to you wherever you are.

A: I don't know what kind of visa you posses, (visas can be single/multiple entry) but Yes, you'll need your PR card to re-enter Canada unless your visa is multiple entry.
Please help!!!

I am talking about immigration visa we get after PPR and COPR.
Then Yes.

I read it sometime ago in CIC website that they may sometimes ask the individual to physically come and collect the PR card at their center. I am not 100% sure about this. But telling you just in case.

I've done applied Permanent resident travel document before. You can apply at Canadian embassy from your home country in order to return to Canada without PR card, It takes only 5 working days to received it.
