Hello beautiful people from all over the world.

Here is my Story.

Applied for PR RENEWAL back in September 2015, with out meeting the 730 days requirement.
Received Acknowledgement in March 2016 .
Received RQ in May 2016.
Submitted RQ in June 2016.
Recently received an email that my PR Card has been approved by the local office,
based on H&C grounds.
Called CIC , it seems the head office is re-examining my file.
Here is the million dollar question.(Note: I am not offering any money).

In the Case everything goes smoothly as it has till now, and most probably I will have to pick up the PR Card.

If I apply for my PRTD, since my pr card has expired and I am out of the Country ( like duh !!).

Will the Officer at the embassy have the authority to deny PRTD and revoke my PR Status since I do not meet the residency Obligations?

I appreciate your patience for reading my story. :D

Thanks

Better to come by land from USA.

Hello,

What is the difference when someone comes to Canada from USA by car and one by airplane to Canada please?

Will the CBSA be more lenient when we come from the USA to Canada if ever we have not meet RO?

Thanks a lot.

absolutely no difference regarding meeting RO whether by land or air. The only difference would be if PR card expired you would not be able to board a plane without a PRTD whereas you could cross a land border.

Either way you could get reported for failing RO.

Yes they would have authority to deny your PR TD and start process to revoke your PR status. This has happened in other cases. The officer analyzing your PR TD will check your RO as of the date you submit the PR TD app. Your previous H&C claim was good as of the time you applied in Sept 2015. It does not explain your continued absence outside Canada to not meet RO after that time.

If your first landing was in April 2015, how come your PR card expires in 2018? Should not it be valid till 2020?
Likewise, you still have till 2020 to meet the residency obligation of 730 days, you have not lost PR status, what is need for appeal?

yes your are right.Typo mistake.
it expires in 2020 but i cant travel till end of 2018.Probably can travel by 2019.thats why i may have to appeal.
