PR approved seeking extention of visa for landing

My application for PR has been approved and I need to submit my passports for visa. Along with my passports can I request the visa office to issue me visas for an extended period? Since I completed my medicals on Feb 25 2008 my visa validity is for a short period. I will be busy for next few months and would not be able to land in canada during this period. Please advise

Dear Brother,

Your Visa may be valied until Feb 2010, its better you should leave to Canada before that period because if you give such a letter requesting more time, you dont know what step they might take. what i believe take your oppertunity now dont miss it.
