PR - Approved cec - counterfoil with 1 year validity?

As per definition of Counterfoil document, "If your document expired, it means you can no longer use it to enter or stay in Canada." Does it means that we have to enter in Canada 3 or 4 months before the expiry to receive PR card? Or does it not matter if we enter just a day before expiry of counterfoil document and receive PR card at later date?

I received my passport with counterfoil and COPR...

My confusion is that the validity on my counterfoil is till july 2019 however my medical is going to expire sep 2018...so is it ok if i plan to travel even after my medical expires...thx

I received application approved with counterfoil number etc after 10 days of submitting my passport after PPR does it mean my passport has been stamped and returned its two days now and haven't received it

It might be little late to activate this thread. But wanted to let you know about my case.
1) My EE Profile status was in Med Passed.
2) Got an email from CPC-Ottawa - Ready for Visa
3) Submitted my passports at Visa office (thru VFS) for stamping
4) The day when passports were released after stamping, my application got updated with counterfoil receipts.

Now what next. How will I get CoPR? Seniors pls help

Hi all, my gckey profile shows application is approved. The return tracker for passport has not been activated yet. My medical was taken Nov 15,2018, and APR was Dec 01 ,2018 but the counterfoil document says expiry date of that document is Dec 02,2019. Is that an issue? because, what I know is the visa expiry date should be 1 year after the medical was taken. Thank you.
