PR- apply twice or withdraw first and then apply?

please suggest...................I am totally confused!!!!

I applied for PR visa on 1st week of February 2008 but unfortunately it will not be processed under the new immigration rule. It means I need to wait for 4-5 years.

Can I apply again so that both applications will be processed together?
Or
Shall I withdraw old application and reapply to process it under the new rule?


I am an electronics and communication Engineer from India with MBA (Masters in Business Administration ) with 10 years of experience as production Manager/ Engineer in manufacturing industry. So what is the chance that I fall under Priority I or II?

Hi Tom if l were you l will send in a new application as soon as possible and redraw the old one. l hope the more experience members of this forum can give you more ideas
