Hi,

I submitted my profile on Nov 8 and have received two ADRs till now. I checked with Ottawa office and they informed me that my file was forwarded to NDVO on 28 December 2017. I am still at IP1.

There has been no movement till now. Some people are saying that at times the online information does get updated and there is a possibility that people are working on my file.

Some people say that file moves to local office at NA2 though I am still at IP1.

Can someone help me understand the situation? And when can I expect movement ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys,

Is there anyone stuck in SS at NDVO? Usually how long it take to get over with this at local visa office? Thanks.
Ss might take 8 months to 1.5 yr.
Are you sure you in SS or is it just a term that you have picked up?
What's your timeline bro?

LIMA CASE?

Hi Friends,

I am new to thread. I recently got ITA and have a few questions. Would really help guidance and help:

1) While completing application after ITA and providing details of immediate Family, its is asking to enter both First Name and Last Name for Father, Mother and Brother. But my Brother do not have LastName/Surname in their Indian passports, only First Name/Given Name is present. But both of these fields are mandatory in Immediate Family section. How shall I fill these?

2) My Passport, Certificates etc do not have Surname/LastName of my parents but just the First Name, but my Parent's passport has Surname added. How should I handle this. Shall I enter their LastName while filling Immediate Family details for Father/Mother, and then explain in the explanation letter?

2) I completed by Masters in June 2011 and the started my job on SEP 2013 ( to present). I had entered the same while originally filing the application. Not when I am completing application after receiving ITA and trying to provide last 10 years activity details, what shall I enter from July 2011 to AUG 2013? I have a GAP there and I was basically pursuing PD ( never completed it and its not even in my WES report) and preparing for enterance exam for the job I am currently doing. I stopped doing PhD once I joined job in SEP2013.
What should I enter in Activity for this period?
Can having a GAP after education and before starting Job result in application rejection by CIC?

3) In my express entry profile, I have my Bachelor Degree completing on MAY 2009 and Masters starting on July 2009 as we have a holiday/break in India between different classes. But now when filling last 10 years Activities, it is asking me to fill something about what I was doing in JUNE 2009 for 1 month.
How should I handle this?
If I change start of my Masters from July 2009 to instead June 2009, is that recommended?

4) I am doing a Govt job presently as a scientist. Does experience verification procedure is different for Govt employees than the non-Govt employees?

5) A little silly question, do we have to notarize all documents like (Experience/Reference Letter, Degree Certificates, Transcripts/Number Cards, ITR-V, Salary Slips, Birth Certificates, WES, IELTS results, PCR, Medical Results etc?

Please provide help in above questions.

Regards,
Roy
1. Fill in the full names it need not be same as on Their passport. No proof is submitted.
2. There are two sections, work history and personal history. Do not leave gaps in personal history. Write unemployed or looking for job, self studying etc etc in the timeline of 10 years without leaving a gap of a single day.
In work history only put one entry of the job from SEP 2013 and nothing. else
3. Do not change the dates of course/degree/study period. You will be providing all copies of documents of education, simply mention the gap as unemployed etc etc.
4. Is your passport having ECR stamp? You need to provide a NOC from your department which is mandatory (as per indian law).
5. No ... Nothing not even self attested. Simply scan and upload.

Have fun.

Guys sorry for late update ....got my PPr email on 22nd Jan....and passports also deposited the same day.....awaiting approved status and COPR now.....I thank each member of this amazing forum from bottom of my heart .....thank you....
hi,

what's the status on your passport? as we had a long weekend im sure there's bound to be some delay. when are you expecting it by?

Cannot confirm but seems like this is a prabable theory. I would highly suggest NDVO people who know their file is at NDVO to comment here regarding this point about visa rejection.

On the other hand i had read a comment by legalfalcon that in the past it was always the CIO-LVO route for all applicants. Off late Ottawa has been processing applications but we do not know the criteria for which these files get transferred to Ottawa.
We did a study in three whatsapp groups, sample size was approx 90 participants.

No past visa rejection is not a common trait of files processing at NDVO. The percentage was 52%.

Stuck at Ndvo, and have a Visa Rejection in the past. And till date, I have only found 2-3 applicants with no past rejections at Ndvo. Rest all have previous rejections. It looks like this is one of the major criteria to be shifted to Ndvo instead of Ottawa like rest.
You here :):confused::cool::p:p:p

Hi everyone
I am an applicant under EE-FSW. I just got my medical passed status update today. AOR date was Jan 16th.

My company is transferring me to South East Asia next month and I might be shuttling in between 2 of those countries almost weekly. My wife will be here till Jun.

I have some travel history of Europe, Dubai and South East Asia. From some of the responses here I gather it might take me about 2-3 months from medical to PPR and generally it takes about 10 days for the passport to be returned if submitted at VFS NDVO. I guess I'll get a PPR around Apr-May if all goes well.

I was wondering what my options may be then.
A) Should I write to CIC requesting that I submit my passport in the base country in SE-Asia while my wife submits hers in Delhi.
In this case I may not have my passport for a long time while sitting in a foreign country. I also would not be able to travel weekly as my company requires. Plus not sure if CIC would allow primary and dependent applicant to submit passport separately.

B) I come back to Delhi for 10-15 days and hope I get my passport back within that time.
In this case if my passport is sent to Ottawa (not sure how ND/Ottawa is decided) then I'll be stuck in Delhi for atleast a month - not something that will go down well with my employers.

Any other options I may have? Will appreciate all suggestions.

Thanks
Rohit
