Hello guys,
I have applied for express entry yesterday & recieved the AOR. My wife is the principal applicant. In my upfront medical i got to know that i am infected with syphilis and TPHA shows positive. But we still submitted the application. I know its a contagious disease and canada govt will never approve the application. But i read on cic site that if its treated then they may issue a visa. So I am getting treatment and I will be getting my last injection tomorrow. And I will send treatment proof to cic. Not sure what will happen to our application. I am nervous. Is there anyone who been through such situation or know someone who had this problem. Please let me know. Thank you..

The way it works out is - your dependency/demands on their health or social services shouldn't be too high. There is a certain quota allotted to everyone, and PR holders too have a certain quota. You are undergoing treatment, and have recovered too at this point- so if they analyse your file and medical reports and be satisfied that your medical treatments won't cross over to Canada from India OR even if it does, your dependency falls within the threshold they've set, there is nothing to worry.

At most, they might ask you to undergo further tests or may ask you to submit your medical treatment plan.

Good luck. :)

Hi Everyone, Wanted clarity on the below --
We have applied as PNP Ontario nomination applicant and our application is in progress. I am assuming our VO will be NDVO. What if we are on holiday in Toronto and we receive our PPR email, could we send our passports to Canadian Embassy in New York for our visa stickers or do we need to come back to New Delhi for our visa stickers to be affixed. Look forward to your responses please......

On 5th May 2017, I received a letter from High Commission of Canada New Delhi Office, requesting to submit mine and all my dependents passports with in 30 days in order to finalize my Permanent Residence application.

Currently I am residing in Toronto, Can I submit only my Passport for stamping here at CPC-Ottawa office and I can ask my dependents to submit their passports for stamping at New Delhi, India office via VFS??

Any one faced this situation??
Did u get any response on this query?

Hi
I need a suggestion here please if someone can guide me

My dad just got retired and my family shifted to new place in same city I.e my hometown (my permanent address) that old address is on my passport
While I live in Bangalore ..
Is there any issue like no one from my family is living on the address provided on my passport nw ... do they send someone to check permanent address ?
If I change my permanent address now on portal .. I need to get passport change also ! It will delay the process ?
Please let me know : best possible thing can be done here..

Hey folks,

Since I didn't see any landing threads specifically focused for folks planning to head to Canada in September, I went ahead and created one here (also features a WhatsApp Group as well).

Figured that for folks who are still planning, it would be good to pool resources. For folks who plan to join later, you're not allowed! Just kidding, of course you're allowed - it'd be useful for you as well.

Will be cross posting to other threads where relevant as well, since they'll most likely have similar plans.
