1. Yes
2. Uploading certificate is necessary. ECA not required for her.
3. ECA for Bachelors and Masters would suffice (**Degree certificate submission is mandatory**)
4. Passport would be required only for someone who is born. So maybe somewhere in may or June you can submit it as additional documentation

Guys, if my wife and yet-to-be-born baby (expected in early April 2017) are not accompanying me:

1. Even then i have to show proof of funds for 3 or for just me?
2. Do I have to provide proof of studies for my wife as well, even though i have not claimed any points for her education and have clearly mentioned in my EE profile that she is not accompanying me??
3. What about proof of secondary education or just the ECA for my bachelors and masters will suffice?
4. Do I have to make a passport for my newborn as well and provide those details in my application post ITA?

Thanks

2) Uploading education certificates for spouse is optional. If you are not claiming points (in this case you are not), you don't have to submit any certificates or mention about spouse's education.
3) For you, you must submit both the degree + the ECA. If you do NOT submit the degree, your application might be refused for being incomplete. You do NOT have to mention/submit documents for secondary education.

Hey guys! In my application status Background Check says Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check.
Does this mean they have not even started a background check?? Don't they begin it once they start processing since it's said to be the longest part of the processing. My end everything is complete, just waiting on PPR so what should I make of this? Any insight?

Yes, this means they are yet to being your BG checks. When your BG check beings, the status will change accordingly. Now, probably, your R10/A11.2/Criminality etc is being checked.

Good luck!

Hi Raj,

Just seeking some of your thoughts. I have noticed that FSWO applications after Feb 15 did not pass medical yet. No movement in status since 3 weeks. I had mailed them twice regarding VO in a 2 week interval. First reply - CPC Sydney. Second - CIO Sydney. If possible please shed some light on the situation.

Thanks

I know someone who is in a similar situation. I mean, everything looks okay for the PA and the spouse but the medicals of the child has not passed yet. I am not sure why this is the case (Maybe the clinic forgot to upload/error in transmission/CIC medical team wants to issue a furtherance request/human error/technical glitch that has not updated the status of meds properly etc could be the possible reasons).

Is it normal for it to be over 3 months since medicals submitted and passed and RPRF paid and yet Background Checks have not begun? What is R10/A11.2??

It is perfectly normal.

R10 is a completeness check which determines whether you have uploaded all required the documents correctly and whether any additional doc is required from u..
A11.2 is an evaluation of your eligibility for PR which determines whether your CRS score is correct and clears the cut off for which u were issued an ITA... This is done by scrutinizing your submitted documents and information and ensuring that everything is in order..

Ok! I guess I just didn't expect this long a wait post everything begin done and sorted from my end. Could the wait be more than 4-6 months? Any clue as to the longest time anyone has had to wait?
Where do you get to know of R10 and A11.2? I have never come across them anywhere.

Hey guys,

Do we need to submit old/cancelled passport along with valid passport when sending for visa stamping?

My timeline is as follows:

AOR 13 Jan
Medicals Passed - 27 Jan
BGC- NN to NS 27 Jan
BGC- Ns to NN 11 Feb

Since than there has not been any change in BGC status. Moreover, I came to know that my file has been transferred to NDVO.
What checks are done? Can anyone tell me what can be the status of my application? when can I expect PPR?
