Today I got an ADR from CIC asking for Afghanistan PCC and I have 60 days to provide it.

Now with my eAPR I had already provided an LOE saying its 5 months since I applied for the PCC and I dont have any response from the Afghanistan Embassy.

Any ideas what I can do here?

Please direct this question to "Rabinji". He might be able to help - he has submitted an Afghanistan PCC too!

Good luck!

I asked Rabin and he told me to pay USD 500 to some guy in KAbul. But I am not sure as how can I trust some guy in Kabul I have never seen with a task that should be done with the fees I have already paid. Rabin said there is no other way, but I am not going to pay money to some shady guy who might be some criminal and get more empowered with my money

Its always gud to pay RPRF upfront.

Does that get an additional priority over the non-payment ones?
Also do I need to attach 3 months bank statements as Proof of Funds or the current statement will suffice?

TIA :D

Hello All,

Anyone interested in CIIP sessions in Pune. Please PM me. We are planning for one if we have enough people.

I'm currently waiting on my PPR, etc. but I would love to meet other people for CIIP in Mumbai. Any other folks from Mumbai interested in such a thing or just a general meetup for drinks and discussion?

Hello all,

Congratulations to all the folks who have received PPR and good luck to those who are waiting for it.
My details are below:

Category: FSW Outland (PA+1 dep)
AOR: 2nd Jan'17
Medicals passed: 6th Jan'17
BG: NN->NS->NN (15th Jan) Now it is Not Applicable.

Since then, there have been no further updates.

I sent a mail to CPC Ottawa to know my visa office and got a reply that my visa application is being processed at NDVO.
Any idea how much time it would take to get PPR since my application is at local visa office now. Thanks in advance!

No one can really predict.. Its just been a little over two months for you.. So hang on... after you cross the 3 month mark, you can consider ordering GCMS notes to see where your application stands...

You can never predict the way CIC works.. I got my PPR the same evening after I did a detailed comparison on gcmsnow and visafile.info and had made up my mind to order notes the next day.. :-) And I had just crossed the 3 month mark.. Whereas there are other AOR recipients from July and August who are still waiting for PPR..

So sit back and relax and wait in the belief that as long as you dont receive any bad news, that amounts to good news..
