Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum. Just completed my medicals this week. Planning to submit by next week.
Senios, should I pay the Right to Permanent fees in advance?
Is there a whatsapp group for this forum?

As per my personal experience don't pay RPRF in advance . You will atleast get an extra update from CIC .
I paid RPRF in advance considering my application will be processed fast . however, that dont happen .

Mine was approved. But didnt receive passport dispatched message. Will it take couple of days for it?

From CIC site

"It should also be emphasized that early payment of the RPRF will avoid delays in finalizing the processing of the application for those classes where it is appropriate, such as priority family class cases. Other cases, such as family class sponsorships of parents and grandparents, where the processing time is known to be long, RPRF instructions specify that the client should wait to pay RPRF until contacted by CIC."

If you have filled in correct information and are not expecting anything to go wrong in your application then always better to pay upfront.

Is NDVO open today?

NDVO is closed today. However, local VFS offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad etc., are open

Call VFS 8 AM sharp on Tuesday morning and ask the status of the PP. They take eons to update the status sometimes.

Will do that, Raj. Now that I've reached this far in the process, I just can't wait to lay my hands on the passports to confirm I am a Canadian PR, finally.

Hi All,

This is my first post on this forum, but I have been following the forum since the beginning :), its great to see all of you connect & support each other.

I also want to congratulate all of them who have received the PPR :)

My timelines are as follows,

ONIP Nomination : 28th Oct 16
ITA : 2nd Nov 16
EAOR - 27th Nov 16
BG status - Not Applicable (for a loooooong time now :'()

I have some questions
1. By when do you seniors think I would get my PPR..?
2. Does the email about PPR come directly to my CIC account or there will be an email notification..?
3. How many days do we get to submit the Passports once we get the PPR..?
4. Is it possible to change the VO as i a travelling to Melbourne end of this month for 30 days, so i am really worried if i get the PPR at that time what do i do..? : ???

Please help me with these questions.....
