Call VFS 8 AM sharp on Tuesday morning and ask the status of the PP. They take eons to update the status sometimes.

there are 10s of sites online to compare prices with, but as far as possible book ticket directly from airlines website instead of makemytrip or any other sites... becoz if you need to change dates at a later stage, they will make it as painful and costly as possible... (speaking from personal experience with 2 burnt fingers )
