Thank you Raj! for the help.

Generally, it is seen that medical takes two weeks to two months to approve. So in my case, if I submit the application in April 2017 and my medical are passed by IRCC officer in June 2017, does it mean that I will get the landing time frame till June 2018. If yes, that would be great. Please let me know if I have correct understanding of the point.

Thank you!

Medical results are valid from the date of examination and not the date of verification from the officer. Reference: Answer 2 in http://www.canadavisa.com/landing-in-canada-as-a-permanent-resident-faq.html

Correct. Medicals are valid for 12 months from the date you took the test.

Folks,

I would like to learn the trick of the trade. Many of you have got good information on what all is happening behind the scene in BG. You guys know, when it is NS, when it is NN, when it is IP and PPR is received all this.

Could you please share this information on this thread?

Hey Best of Luck - Are you from Delhi?

NS : When it shows NS it means BG is not started and your R10 and A 11.2 are getting reviewed

NN: This means R10 and A 11.2 have met and BG check has begun but They do not require any documents from you

IP : BG check is over and they are rechecking everything for Admissibility before sending ppr

PPR : Passport request is sent after all above is cleared and ready for Visa

;) ;) ;)

Hi All,

I visited VFS Delhi yesterday (Mar 01). Wanted to be the first one in queue but could only manage to reach around 11:30 am :) . To my surprise there were hardly any queues. The whole process took less than an hour including getting a token, waiting, photo copy of PPs, cash payment at a separate counter and a friendly chat with the VFS executive. OINP did prepare me well for longer wait times :).

I opted for the PPs to be couriered to my address so total fee was around INR 1,000 per passport, including SMS alert charges. The guy told me I should receive it within the next week.

Hope this helps.

Hi Rsingh
All the defends must go to VFS or only primary applicant can carry dependent passport
Can you please share the info

@bestofluck,

Actually NN (1st time) > NS --- Medicals usually get passed

NS > NN --- R10 and Criminality checks gets reviewed

NN > IP --- A11.2 gets reviewed and Security also gets Checked.

This is what I have observed in many GCMS notes which I have had a look.

:D :D
