I guess next to next Monday they will release PPR. I see after every two weeks they make PPR rain.

I still have hopes they will release some ppr later in the day.

They way they are making draws, I don't think they can now afford waiting for batches. They will have to do it on daily basis.

Agreed. I guess backlog is bound to happen. Last draw had 3K ITA. Unbelievable.

Hello friends,

I thought I'd share my experience with VFS Chandigarh today.
It took over 3 hours so please go prepared or go early morning.
They are crazy busy.
I have submitted my passport and have been given a tracking number.
It had cost me Rs 646.
I've been informed by the lady that it usually takes a week to get passport back.
Let's see what happens.

Hi All,

I visited VFS Delhi yesterday (Mar 01). Wanted to be the first one in queue but could only manage to reach around 11:30 am :) . To my surprise there were hardly any queues. The whole process took less than an hour including getting a token, waiting, photo copy of PPs, cash payment at a separate counter and a friendly chat with the VFS executive. OINP did prepare me well for longer wait times :).

I opted for the PPs to be couriered to my address so total fee was around INR 1,000 per passport, including SMS alert charges. The guy told me I should receive it within the next week.

Hope this helps.

Hi Folks,

Congratulations to all who has got the PPR and my best wishes to all who are in the queue to get the PPR. Just received the ITA yesterday and targeting e-AOR in March 2017.

I want to move to Toronto in first week of May 2018. Temperature would be great and my kids session would be over by first week of April 2018. They will be promoted to the new grade. So, if we move in May 2018, they will get around 4 months to get comfortable with new environment and would be ready to start the new session in September 2018.

Considering the landing in May 2018, when should I have the medical/e-AOR? I have 3 months till May 31st to submit the e-AOR.

Could you please guide? Or Shall I plan the medical/e-AOR in April 2017? Will the COPR valid till April 2018?

Thoughts please.

Thank you

Copr is valid only till medicals are valid ie one year from date of medicals

Agreed...so what is the medical date?

Is it a date of medical test performed and uploaded by the test agency? Or is it a date, when IRCC approves the medical test?

I can plan accordingly. At-least, I can go for the medical towards the end of April 2017, so that the COPR is valid till April 2018.

Great news. Soon it would be your turn. Pretty optimistic that you will get your PPR before this week ends.
