Guys,

I am an FSW-Outland Applicant.

My BKG status just changed to In Progress.

Is my application in some trouble or is it a good sign considering the fact that my AOR is 24 Nov and Meds Pass Date is 30 Nov.

Need your guidance on this.

Rafzy it is definitely a good sign. Your VO is probably London and they are known for quick processing! Good luck mate!

He is referring to OID or paper based applicants. They will have medicals at the last stage unlike EE applicants.

Hi Seniors,

How does ITA invitation works?

If I get it and don't accept it, then I will get it again on next draw or after 90 days?

Thanks in advance.

If you decline, your EE will be back in the pool for next draw.
If you let it expire in 90 days, your EE will be back pool after 90 days for next draw.
You may or may not get ITA in successive draw based on your CRS

OK great. So basically I have to reject it, to get ITA in next draw (I will be getting PNP nomination, so I must be eligible :) ).

Hi Guys,

Is there anybody travelling from Punjab/Chandigarh or near by place to Toronto in the next 5-6 days? Please let me know as I need a help to send important documents. Avoiding courier for suspected delays due to Christmas vacations.

It will be great help.

Thanks

The second point is incorrect. If you let the invitation expire, your EE profile becomes ineligible. You have to create a new EE profile again.

Declining an invitation to apply

If you decline an invitation, you will be put back into the Express Entry pool of candidates (as long as you still meet the minimum criteria) to be considered in future rounds of invitations.

You may have to take steps to be considered again for the pool. For example, if you got additional points for a job offer but the job is no longer available to you, you may need to get another job offer. Or, if you got married or entered into a common-law relationship, you will have to update your Express Entry profile.

There is no guarantee that you will be invited to apply again. But, if you choose to re-enter the pool, declining an invitation will not have a negative effect on whether or not you could be invited to apply later.

If you do not decline an invitation and you do not apply within 90 days, the invitation will expire. You will have to complete and submit a new Express Entry profile and be accepted to the pool again to be considered in future rounds of invitations.

To re-enter the pool, you must complete a new profile and meet the minimum criteria.

However, if you decline the invitation, your EE profile will be back in the pool again.

Hi Raj & seniors,

I remember that Raj has posted a link where we can compare demand of particular NOC in different province of Canada. I am not able to find that link. I want to add statistics based on that in my letter of intention to reside in Ontario. Could someone please provide the link?

Thanks.

Hello guys,

I got my passports with COPR today :)
However, the province/city of arrival are mentioned as SK/Saskatoon, since I indicated the same while filling EE profile. I'm not a PNP but FSW outland applicant.

Does this means I have to land at Saskatoon first??

Regards,
Aditya
