Guys, i think it will be better to lower our expectations as far as the timelines are concerned. At the time of AOR, i expected 120-150 days but now anything less thn 180 days seems like a bonus.

Question regarding submission of passport at VFS. Do they require the whole family to be physically present during the submission? Can the passport be couriered to VFS along with DD (website says only cash but want to confirm)?

Yes for submission the passport holder must be present or an authorisation letter must be provided by the passport holder mentioning that you are submitting on their behalf. It is always better to visit VFS with all passport holders.

It has been more than 60 days since I have got my AoR. I am planning to get GCMS these day. From the expert comments in this forum and the trend, R10 and 11.2 would be cleared withing this time frame.

My question is:
"If in case, R10 and 11.2 has any problem, does CIC inform us?" Or, in other way "When does the CIC inform us if R10 and 11.2 are not cleared?" "When we get to know?"

U will het gcms report in 30 days. Its for u to take corrective action and update cic with necessary info. Cic wont send any seperate message asking for clarification. Its upto you to prove ur point and clarify thr doubts.

Ndvo - has recently touched few Jan end files which even includes oinp.BGC goes "in progress" for them.
They are about to start Feb file soon, at least we all are praying.

I hope we don't have to readjust our expectations beyond 180 days
