Dear mods & Senior members,

IMO & looking at the way NDVO is acting on PR files, We can jointly start a petition. Two times before this has been done and the request reached the concerned ears and result you can anticipate, I know there is workload, but this has been from last 4-5 months and hiring new people/ volunteers etc or workload distribution, something or other could have been a solution to turnaround things

Please suggest and take an action

Indeed, I agree. But I guess they could simply transfer files to current country of residences instead of sending to NDVO(more simpler than drastic measures of hiring new staff). On the other hand CIC is sending lesser invitations, almost half of what they used to send till March. So this could help us in next weeks.

When did you order them?

Man, that's rough. They haven't basically worked on it at all.
That scares me a bit, since I am awaiting my GCMS notes too, ordered on 21st.

Since NDVO was processing in 3-4 months till January everyone had started to expect their application to get processed within that time frame. Now that they are taking almost 6 months it is causing havoc on applicants psyche :) Technically CIC has committed to process most of the applications within 6 month time frame which they are doing. So don't fret, you should get your GCMS by weekend and I hope that helps with anxiety levels :) And will get PPR too in due time. Good Luck :)

If NDVO processes on basis of when they receive file, you might get PPR before many of March applicants :) When was it transferred?

Hi Dev,

My file was transferred to NDVO on 18th May. Note 1 says:

"Case Analyst/selection review: EE-MI-PV2******A11.2 assessment******PNP Application. Applicant selected by Ontario.......FOSS Check: No adverse info. ............... The duties listed in the letter(s) of reference appear to be consistent with the actions in the lead statement under the NOC code selected. As a result, I am satisfied that within the 10 years before the date on which their application for a permanent resident visa is made, they have accumulated, over a continuous period at least one year of full-time work experience as an Business development officer and marketing researcher and consultant as the primary occupation in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification- 4163 as per R75(2) PA does meet the FSW criteria for the selected NOC PA does meet the definition of provincial nominee and selection under PN program. FAMILY MEMBERS PA is married Marriage Certificate on file Copies of valid passports submitted Meds - Passed

Nothing negative but nowhere it says 'Met' or 'Passed' or 'review required'

At the same time, ACTIVITY 1 says:
Sub activity/activity Type: 11.2-EE MI
Field Name: Status
New value: Met

My question is, Is my A11.2 Met? and how is Case Analyst/selection review different from Agentt or Support Service Agent.

Regards

11.2 is passed for me too in the Activity section and not in the Notes sections which IMO is fine. Case analyst/agent/officer are just different hierarchy I believe and application goes through these 2-3 review before rejected/accepted. Since it is a big step to give PR to some one I gather it wouldn't be a smart thing to rely on just one individual's opinion hence 2-3 stages. All my speculation :)

From what I have read(also confirmed by some very senior members) an Officer reviews the file after Agent/Supporting Agent reviews it and
Officer's decision supersedes all other reviews/recommendations.

Where does case analysts fall in hierarchy?

Officer>Analyst>Agent>Supporting-Agent

Which also explains the steps usually file goes through, from Supporting Agent review to final decision.

Also, considering my GCMS notes and other notes I have observed on forum, usually the Supporting Agent reviews all the basics
and the corresponding GCMS note will be marked with these keywords "REVIEW TYPE: Support Service Agent" and in the next
stage you will see another note with keywords *** AGENT REVIEW ***, both for R10 and A11.2. If you look at the dates too
more or less Agent review always follows the Supporting Agent review.

I am guessing that the status would change from "Met" to "Passed" when officer(or probably Analyst) approves that.
