Request for a vo change and explain the situation. I think that should be fine.pitra426 said:Hi All,
I received an email asking me to submit my PP and 2 photos to NDVO. No updates on the CIC account though.
But, I am outside India now -started working in SG less than a month back and cannot take leaves in the first 6 months.
As mailing Indian passports to & from India is illegal, I am worried about how to meet the 30-day deadline of submission.
Should I request for a VO change to SG from ND or,should I mail the passport to my dad, with an authorization letter to submit to VFS in India?
Which would be faster, based on people's past experience.
Best regards,
R

If NDVO is processing your application, you'll get a PPR request in your cic account and a 'you have a new message' in mail inbox. And if its Ottawa , like in my case, you'll get an email from CPC-Ottawa. There will be no update in your application.Aragorn165 said:Congratulations to everyone who has received a PPR recently!
Did you receive it over email or MyCIC?

I have received GCMS which says my file transferred to NDVO on 11 June 2016.
Please update in spread sheet.
Thanks,

AOR - 27 April 2016
Yup, that is exactly how it happened with me haha.RitJ said:If NDVO is processing your application, you'll get a PPR request in your cic account and a 'you have a new message' in mail inbox. So what / where people received a message would depend on where your application is being processed.
NDVO does not work on weekendsiceman87 said:Hello folks 2 quick questions here:
Does NDVO work on the weekends?
Is it advisable to call NDVO and find out status of PR application post 6 month period or do they boot you off the line for asking so?
