Hi guys.. I am AOR April 27, FSWO, NDVO.. I have a constant who is taking care of my application..do you think I should order GCMS notes.. if yes, if I order GCMS notes will it go to my consultant's email id or do I have an option to get it to my email id?

when it comes to ordering GCMS notes, they are individual thing apart from ur EE application.. you can also order GCMS notes on CIC website.. provided you have your EE profile details and any friend/relative who is in canada on PR/CITIZEN/STUDENT VISA as you would need their name, address, phone number .. so basically you would be ordering your GCMS notes on behalf of them.. you have to also submit consent form while ordering them..

cic link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

apply online.. provide ur email address

Should I assume file may be at NDVO? I thought about calling and asking, but I read in few forums that they answer only if you call from within Canada and that you can ask only once in 45 days. Is that true?

In case I call, which number to call and what should I ask? Thanks in advance for your help!

Even my status changed to "We do not need additional documents" on 22 Aug. Not sure what it means. No change since 22 Aug

file transferred to NDVO on 19th July

Oh almost 2 months. Then I think I’m panicking for no reason. Reading through this thread it seems NDVO is really really slow!!

Cannot confirm but seems like this is a prabable theory. I would highly suggest NDVO people who know their file is at NDVO to comment here regarding this point about visa rejection.

On the other hand i had read a comment by legalfalcon that in the past it was always the CIO-LVO route for all applicants. Off late Ottawa has been processing applications but we do not know the criteria for which these files get transferred to Ottawa.

I have no rejections. In fact I have a ten year US visa which was issued a couple of years ago.

Hello All,

I got the golden email yesterday 2:12 pm IST - PPR along with the request to pay RFRP yesterday on my MyCIC. To my surprise I got both the request in one single mail.

I managed to pay RFRP on CIC website but couldn't find any empty slot on MyCIC to upload the receipt as requested. Did anyone faced the similar issue. It will be very helpful if someone can advise how they got around this issue.

Further, please share your valuable insight on my queries regarding submitting passport with VFS

- I have 3 to 4 previous passport and so as my wife. Do we need to submit all the passports with VFS along with the current passport
- Can i submit the receipt of RFRP along with passport to VFS since I am unable to upload the same on MyCIC
- Any fees that we need to pay at VFS for passport submission and stamping. If Yes, What is the mode of payment
- Anything else that I missed asking :)
