Finally Passport submitted at Mumbai VFS office.
How many days normally it takes to get it stamped and return back?

Usually you get it within 7 working days. However, currently there seems to be rush.Dr.Shreeram said:Finally Passport submitted at Mumbai VFS office.

Just go there with the required documents - PA and dependant's passport, 2 photographs (of which 1 of them should have the photography studio name address, date photograph was taken, person's full name and date of birth) along with the passport request letter. Please read the passport request and see if I missed any other documents to carry.jpv2212 said:Anybody who has already submitted his PP at VFS, Ahmedabad, Gujarat?
Or is about to submit there?
Kindly reply, since I will have to submit my PP at there only. So, was wondering about the exact procedure for the same.
Appreciate if anyone gives guidance.
Thanks
Thanks, hoping to get sooner than later..Rob2K said:Since you are a PNP-O applicant, you will see only single IP. You should be expecting you PPR pretty soon. what's your visa office?
Yup - Its summer in Canada - Can't miss it !royce110 said:Anyone planning their trip in July around 2nd week?
Airfares seem to be skyhigh due to vacation season.
This is normal. The Centralized Intake Office (CIO) is in Sydney, Nova Scotia and the Case Processing Center (CPC) is in Ottawa, Ontario. Generally, the file intake in done at CIO and after initial "processing", the file might be transferred to Ottawa or other VOs.etcoflife said:Dear Seniors,
My file is now in Ottawa but initially it was in Sydney. I am FSW-O from India. Any idea whats going on?
Thanks
None. Some FSW-O/PNP-O applicants are almost entirely processed at CIO/CPC and only PP submission comes from NDVO.mits0829 said:Thanks, hoping to get sooner than later..
About visa office, I am from India so it should be New Delhi office, if that is what I understand. Is there anything else about knowing your visa office?
Thanks +1rajkamalmohanram said:This is normal. The Centralized Intake Office (CIO) is in Sydney, Nova Scotia and the Case Processing Center (CPC) is in Ottawa, Ontario. Generally, the file intake in done at CIO and after initial "processing", the file might be transferred to Ottawa or other VOs.
In my case, the file never went to CPC, Ottawa. It was almost entirely processed at CIO and then transferred to NDVO for finalization.
