Hi ,
As per all senior's guidance..I have added my spouse after ITA and my marriage....we received PPR on friday 3rd Feb ..after 10 months waiting time..!! Thanks a lot for your advice..! Now we wanted to know...My medical expiry is on 10th March..and my employer notice period is 2 months...and I have not yet resigned from current organization...However, considering the medical expiry date...visa stamping date would be 10th march 2017..So I would like to know...is there any way out wherein we can put CIC to extend the timeline ..!! or is there any way out other than Soft landing..
We have not submitted our Passport yet at VFS..
Awaiting for your speedy reply..!! Thanks in advance..

Thanks for reply.. But we haven't received any medical request from CIC . We just received the PPR letter on 3rd Feb that's it.
Unless there is an exceptional and a demanding circumstance <<God Forbid>> like death of a close relative or hospitalization etc, it is usually not possible to extend the landing date. You can raise a CSE and inquire but it is unlikely for that request to be granted. About the medical request, you will not receive a new medical request IMO. New medical requests are sent when the application is in process for more than 12 months from the date of the medical test (that is, if your medical expires and you still haven't received a decision on your application).
After you receive PPR, I suppose you have 30 days to submit your PP. The date you have to land might be the date your medical exam expires. Some inland applicants whose applications have been in process for more than 12 months from the date of their medical test report "extended medical expiry date" but I am not sure if it applies to ouland applicants. If they say it is not possible to do that, then you have to consider soft landing (please note this is not an official term and do not use this term in your CSE to your VO).
Anyway, you can raise a CSE and inquire about this. Good luck!
