Hi there.. Does anyone know if how many years you can stay outside canada after you get your permanent residency?? I will be applying PR and plan to sponsor my spouse and my child as well. My spouse plans to leave canada after he lands here.. Is he allowed to come back when he leaves?? Appreciate your anwers..

You have to live in Canada for 2 out of every 5 rolling years to keep your PR status.
