PR application with spouse

My girlfriend wife to be is applying for PR. Wanting to know if she can apply as an individual candidate or both of us wait and apply until after marriage?

Or would it be best to proceed as individual candidate and do a spouse application at a later time?

It's really much less complicated to just wait ...
She can start alone, sure, but then after marriage there is going to be a process of adding you to the application, or if she gets Confirmation of PR before your marriage, she'll have to send it back along with your new documents, and wait for confirmation for both of you.
Really might as well wait...
 
It’s a lot less complicated if you will apply after marriage (assuming that’s in the near future). You can both prepare all the necessary documents in the time being.
