PR Application under review : Renew Indian Passport

Hi

I have submitted all my documents for EE application on 10th of Jan 2019, expected decision on my application is 10 July. My passport will expire on 4th of Feb 2020. I am living in Ottawa on Work permit.

My question is :

Can I apply for a renewal of my passport while the PR application is under review? Will my passport expiry will affect my application?

Yes you will have to renew it ASAP...And no it doesn't affect your application as long as you inform IRCC about the new passport details..
