Yes, even I think thats right. If we have to re-apply for PR, it is good to consider as a new application and reprint all the forms with updated Date on all the forms. It makes sense.

Regarding the Processing Times: We cannot guess, as one of my friends applied for PR through PNP, CIO mailed him to send the medicals in exactly 2 months from the date he sent the application.

Now, its the christmas season, so, the process might be little delayed.

Thanks,
Aravind

Hey,

So, you are saying that, you have sent the same application forms that you received from them? (Which have all the stamps and few red check marks).

Can you please let us know?

Thanks,

My view is that you submit a "refreshed" application.

1. First check if the forms you have used have not changed, see if there are updates to the forms. There have been reports of applications being held or in some cases returned because the forms used were old and there are updated forms available.

2. For the forms that you do not need to change, you may need to update the dates and signatures. Some forms you need to sign and date, and with these you may need to print out a fresh last page/signature page, affix your new signature and updated date and use this new signature page to replace that on the returned forms. This way, you do not have to redo the entire form, only update the signature page.

3. Unfortunately, since your application was returned, processing was not started; fees may not have even been charged/deducted from your credit card/bank account. And a resubmission still will send you back to the start of the application process.

Thank you!
That is the reason they returning it cuz of declined credit card.
I feel an idiot that i didnt prepay online and enclosed receipt. >:(

Other problem my ainp will expiry on april 25th. It takes 30 days to extend it.
I wanted to extend in advance. But ainp agent on the phone has tild me she s advising to wait for returned application and then only ask for a possible extension as it is only ONE time favour for nominees.

So i really dont know. Im not sure application will reach me at least on april 20th...
Im in alberta....

As per cic agent on the phone it was returned april 2nd.
But consider Easter holidays and that fact they use regular mail...
