Hey All,

Can anyone please help how to proceed to re-apply for PR application.

I have applied for PR under AINP, and they have sent back saying it does not meet requirements and included an appendix of the "AUTH DECLINED 200 - Transaction not approved". They have actually tried three times (in 3 days), as there are no enough funds in my credit card, the transaction has been declined.

My question: Can I re-apply with the same set of application forms that I received from them in which they have pasted CIC number Tag ( which might be my application Number).
Do I have to include the letter that they sent along with the "Declined Transaction Forms" that they have attached with the forms?

I really appreciate your help. I wanted to apply as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Arravv

If any guys have questions applying for AINP, give a shout and I will try helping you out!!!

Was your application returned back from CIO-NS?
You can submit a fresh application form IMM0008 (needs to have the barcode again). On the other federal (CIC) forms, you can refresh the first (date needs to be changed) and the last (signature pages with date) and keep the middle pages the same. You don't have to include the letters that state "declined transaction" - just make sure your payment method is correct and you have and you keep sufficient balance for the processing fees in your credit card when you re-submit the application. It takes sometime before CIC does charge the processing fees, so you may need to keep a watch on your credit card balance for some time.

/all the best ....

Hey Ragluf,

I really appreciate your help and your detailed explanation. I thought we have to send in the same set of forms as they have pasted CIC sticker with a unique number.
So, I will re-apply with new forms filled in as u said above and will make sure there are enough funds!!

Thanks so much!!

No worries mate - happened to me too - they sent it back as I used 'wrong method of payment' - (form/receipt of payment is not the correct one). I treated the re-submission as a fresh application, so had to 'refresh' the forms that had dates and signatures on them. As your application was returned, well you don't have an application received and 'on file' with CIC/CIO-NS, so my opinion is that CIC file number does not count anymore. This is why I would advise to refresh the IMM0008 - barcode is unique, and will be 'tagged' to your file.

Make sure you check everything has been returned, and that there are no other VO marks (usually by pen) on any other of your forms. Look at it this way - you have a redo chance to see if anything else in your application may have been missed...and now is the opportune time to make corrections :).

/Good luck...

Hey Ragluf,

They have stated that, "Please see the highlighted items on the enclosed checklist or the enclosed appendix. And the highlighted text is "DECLINED
AUTH DECLINED 200
TRANSACTION NOT APPROVED". So, I am sure that is the only reason why it got declined.
I also see that, they have lightly highlighted on my Name, Date of Birth, Sex, Contact Information in IMM 0008 form (which is 100% correct).
The only thing I am missing from my documents is "Self Addressed mailing labels in English and my native language".

Did you include the "Rejection letter" while re-applying, or did u just applied as how we did the first time?

Thanks Buddy!!

Hey,

When CIO is trying to charge the fees from credit card/ some other kind of payment, does it mean they are satisfied with all the paper work, and willing to move forward with medicals??

Thanks,
Arravv

Usually if CIC tries to charge the processing fee this would often signify your submitted application is 'complete' (...satisfies all the requirements as in the checklist) by CIO, and next this will be forwarded for futher processing (this includes medicals and other checks) to the VO that will handle your file. A receipt for the processing fee is also part of the AOR sent back to you by CIO.

Same case as mine, I sent the same set, it had some stamps on it

@emanager:
Hey,

So, you are saying that, you have sent the same application forms that you received from them? (Which have all the stamps and few red check marks).

Can you please let us know?

Thanks,
Arav!!

Got the checklist back along with a check mark on the reason why it was returned - wrong payment (handwritten note). I saw the highlighted info on my IMM0008. This is why I submitted a fresh application, cleaned up the info and did not include the rejection letter. All went well - already have my visa and just waiting to 'land'.

/Good luck...

hey ragluf,
i had my application send back to me too by CIO, due to the "additional family member" form to be filled up by my husband. they also send us a checklist with the high-lighted part about the additional family member. i had to make a fresh copy of the IM0008 since they got some handwritten notes on it, and the additional family member form. and the rest of the forms where all the same as it was. do you think i did the right thing? and how long will you have to wait till you know that your application will be approved and proceed to the next step?

thank you...

You can see there seems to be no correct/incorrect way when re-submitting the application forms after it has been returned to you by CIO. I always treat this as a complete re-submission (and always I lean towards the pessimistic side) - so clean up the info, clean up the forms and send it out again. I expected CIO to treat it as a new application - it is still at the beginning of the process :) so no delays introduced yet....

If you have fixed the deficiencies in your application, following the checklist included with your previous application, you should be good. The indicator is when you get an AOR - that should show your application has been sent /forwarded to a VO for futher processing.

As to how long - well the standard answer is use the CIC posted application processing times as a gauge. Nobody has a bead on those application processing times....:)
