Hello All,
This is my first post on this awesome, helpful and informative forum. Hoping to be able to help others achieve their Canadian dream as well.
In the meantime, I do have a few questions:
1) I had already submitted my PR application on 12/3/2016 and uploaded the last requested document (police certificate) on 27/3/2016. I have yet to receive any updates after that date (Medicals passed a few days after submission, but Background check still not started) - is this normal?
2) I have recently come to realize that the money I had shown as proof of funds is below the minimum amount required as per the LICO. I made sure I had more than the minimum saved in my bank account at the time of PR application but unfortunately I didn't check the currency exchange rate on the day of submission and it turned out I was a few hundreds short than the minimum required amount. Is there a chance my application could be rejected due to this minor mistake? Do you advise me to send a CSE with a LOE and updated bank letter showing more than the required amount (according to current exchange rate) just to be on the safe side? Will they accept it or become even more suspicious and reject the application altogether?
3) Will CIC or Visa Office ask for proof of funds again at any stage after PR application submission?
Appreciate your comments in advance.
Thanks All.
