I have submitted my Canada PR application through Express Entry on Oct 12, 2015. Recently (Mar 16, 2016) I received a message in MYCIC account that my application is refused because the proof of employment submitted did not confirm that it was Full time and also job duties. I live in India where we do not get letters from employers with these "key words". Can you please let me know if there is any possibility of appealing further on this application or can you please guide me with a best alternate procedure to immigrate to Canada.

What all documents you attached for job ? Was not full time job or permanent employee written on reference letter ?

I am from India too...
They can mention in the employee letter.....,
Your position
Full time or part time
and your duties..
You can provide your play slips from bank or salary bank account statements.

sorry to hear about the refusal, what all documents did you submit? Did you submit the paystubs and tax forms?

Dear All,

Thank you so much for the replies.

I submitted a document from the organisation stating that I was working in the organisation. Is there a way I can submit another proof document with all these details now since the file status is "Closed". I was not asked to submit proof on these but the file was refused. Can you please guide me what is the next step with my application.

Also please clarify if this document can be submitted only from my current employer or from all employers with whom I was associated with.

Thanks,
Vijayareka

^ No choice, you have to make a new EE profile and wait for another ITA.

Applications cannot be reopened or appealed when the reason is the applicant's own negligence to follow the requirements.

Make sure all the requirements and details are complete in your next application.

You should have read the requirements, this forum has all you need.

You can re-apply though.

Approach your employer and try to convince him to write the the same kind of reference letter only additionally stating your hours per week and duties. If he refuses, another alternative is to ask one of your colleagues (preferably senior) to write same kind of letter on a white paper, have it notarized and attach his/her business card along with it in your application.

Immediately create a new Express Entry profile and start collecting all the necessary documents (beware if some of the documents you uploaded with your first application are no longer valid). You could also raise a CSE uploading your new reference letter and politely ask the officer if he could reopen your application, however chances of this being successful are slim to say the least, but it certainly doesn't cost you anything.

Did you open your EE profile on October 12th? Or what is that date? ITA? AOR?
You got refusal after 5+ months for a letter of employment? Sounds weird..

Sorry to hear about that but
If your employer doesn't give you a reference letter with job responsibilities and duties you can do the following:

1. Write your Roles/Responsibilities on a plain paper
2. Write your job duties on plain paper too
3. Attach your offer letter which says you have been hired by xxx company on xxx date and for xxx position
4. After verifying and confirming this get your manager/colleague to sign it and attach his Business Card and get all these papers Notarised!
5. Write a LOE regarding this and if possible show the communication (Email) where your employer or HR has refused to give you a reference letter or if it is in your company policy attach it for CIC's reference :) now, you are good to go.

October 12 is when I submitted my online application for PR after receiving the ITA. Thanks to all of you. I will try and get a reference letter from my employer and create a new EE profile. I will also try the CSE option given.

I will update the status soon.
