PR application interfering with Student Visa

Hi guys, I have filed my PR application back in April but now I have decided to take a course in Canada and go through student visa.
I've heard they would reject my student visa because I have applied for PR, is this true? What if I withdraw my application, would they still reject it?
I have completed my studies 2 years ago, and been working for the past two years.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

No, PR applications and study permit applications are processed separately. But what do you not like about your current PR application and why do you want to go back to school? You still need to show you are a genuine student.

The only issue is for a study permit you need to show that you will return home after your studies. A PR application indicates you want to stay in Canada. It isn’t a dealbreaker you should still apply.

Well, I'm having a difficult time reaching the crs score required, I'm ending up with 472 at the best, but score is still higher and I cannot wait any longer, that is why I have decided to go on with a study visa plan. My friends have gone through the same path but they had not applied for PR prior.
Any idea how I can prove that I would leave canada after finishing my studies? What do you think would be the chances of visa getting rejected?

if you cant show that you will leave canada at the end of your stay, your permit will be refused, regardless if you have a exprrss entry profile or not

So you haven't actually applied for PR, you're merely in the Express Entry pool?

Why can't you wait?
I am in the Express entry pool since April, but as I said my score is lower that the CRS cutoff, that's why I wanted to go through the study pathway.

Okay, so you didn't actually file a PR application back in April. That still leaves the question of why can't you wait? The cutoff could realistically drop to 472 or a little below.
