Can anybody help regarding my following queries:-

1. it takes how much time for "Acknowledgement of Receipt of Documents"??
2. and my profile is as follows, can somebody please calculate my points:-

Education:- (TOTAL: 17 years)
1. MBA (Finance): (Duration=2 years)
2. Post Graduate Diploma in Cost & Management Accounting: (Duration=1 year)
3. B.Com: (2 years)
4. High Secondary School: (Duration=2 years)
5. Secondary School: (Duration=10 years)

Experience:-
4 years in Bank (Designation: Trade Reporting Officer (Job Description: Trade Finance Reporting + Operations & Admn Work)

Age:-
26 years

IELTS:
Speaking: 6.5, Listening: 6.5

French:
TCFQ result awaiting + DELF (Speaking:A2, Listening:A1) (also done 6 levels with 75% from alliance francaise)

Finance:
3500 CAD $

Hi Spaniard,

It seems that you are not applying under QSW-PEQ,

In my case it took almost 2 months to receive the AOR, (inland application sent to Sidney, NS)
2.- Sorry I can´t really help you count your points, here we are applying under the "Programme de l'expérience québécoise (PEQ)" and it's not based on points.
so the timeline for the category you are applying should be different too.

Hi all

I sent my CSQ application 2 weeks ago. My credit card was charged by Immigration Quebec last Monday, does this mean my application was processed, and I can expect to receive my CSQ soon? My PR application is all ready to go!

I see that everybody's timelines are pretty long. I hope that with the current freeze on some categories of applications, things will move quicker.

I got my CSQ in July 2012
PR application sent on Aug 1st
AOR received in september 4
Medicals request september 11
Medicals done september 13
Medicals received October 30

Waiting since then......hope to get it asap

Just breaking the silence.
Seems like no new for everyone.
It has been almost a month since it shows "In Process" on e-cas.
They should be taking thier time to do my background check-up. I thought it would go faster.
hm... hope everything is going well with everyone!


April 16th 2012 - Obtained my CSQ under PEQ
July 26th 2012 - ECAS shows that my application was received
Aug 23rd 2012 - Got an email from Nova Scotia that my PR Application is considered complete at will be sent to Visa Office
Aug 28th 2012 - Got an email from Ottawa asking me to perform Medical Test.
Sept 6th 2012 - Medical Exam performed (Clinic told me they mailed the results to Ottawa on the 1st of Oct)
Oct 27th - ECAS shows medical received
Nov 1st - In Process

QC_student_PEQ it's really good news that they updated your status "In progress" your are getting closer and closer, congrats!

As for my application I have completed 4 months since my "Med. received". and still no activity on my ECAS and no further activity!

March 13th 2012 - CSQ obtained
May 11th 2012 - ECAS ( PR application received )
August 15th 2012 - Medical reached Ottawa
around 3 weeks later (approx) - ECAS ( Medical received )

Hi BoLul. Thanks for the post. It is so frustrating for everyone. But if you follow the link above you would be able to check that it takes about 6 months between medical and PPR. For my friend whose application was initially sent to Buffalo in 2011, he still only sees Medi Received, but using CAIP note, he was able to verify that his file is actually "In Process" since long time ago.
So I would assume yours is also under review. You could order CAIP note if u want to clarify some of your curiosity. I plan to do CAIP note as well soon.

Thanks for the encouraging words, I was planning to do so once I hit the "9 months mark" from AOR as the processing time is indicated in the CIC link suggest:

Ottawa (Case Processing Pilot) - Canada : processing time is 9 m.

so by mid Feb 2013 if I don't hear a peep from them, I'll order one.

I may be incorrect, but I assume it is 5 years because you need to stay in cananda at least 2 years in the 5 yr otherwise they take ur pr back. But again, I am guessing.

The validity of the PR is 5 years as far as I know, what I means is once the VISA office request your passport so that they issue the immigrant VISA that allows you to land, does this VISA have an expiry date, I would think it should have and I heard that it was valid for a full year for which you are allowed to land any time.

Was wondering if that was accurate.
