Hi, Im in Live-in Caregiver program when i enter canada, and got new employer and new working permit last december 2015,im just confused,if im going to apply permanent residency in the future am i still in Live-in caregiver program or in Caring for children pathway?because it says that there are 3 ways to apply permanent residence. thank you

yes, i already have a new working permit to my new employer and received last december..

It's your choice which way you want to apply and which way you are eligible to apply. The new pathway has more requirements than the old rule.

NOC 6471

Hi Guys, Does anyone here know how long after medical exam you can get a passport request from cic? I am currently employed in another country in south america and my contract will expire soon on august 2016. Will it take longer for me to get the work visa under noc 6471 before my contract expires? Hope anyone can help. Thanks.

Hi when did you do your medical? We are on the same boat, only difference is i am in asian country. My medical was done four weeks ago and cic has not send enail about passport request.

i took my medicals Feb 16,2016. i have a consultant so all emails coming from the cic portal will go to them. They told me i passed the medical and the passport request will be coming soon. I hope i can get it before the 16th of march.

Hi just want to ask something,my previous employer release me however I found a new employer,my problem is that my work permit will expire nxtwk and my lmia application is not yet send to service canada..what will I do..pls help im nervous.
