PR Application Files Transferred from Buffalo ----> Los Angeles VO from Sep 2011

Hey Soop,

My time line is very similar, File traansferred to L On 5-April, Got the MR on 21-May. Completed Medical on 28-May, DMP send the file to Otawa on June 2nd and Otawa received on 8-June, Since then waiting for Passport request. No idea what LA visa office is doing

how you know when file is transfered. my file was is buffalo n will be transfer to ottawa but i dont knw anything. its still shows in process online.

i received the email for stamping today from LA VO, 5 weeks after they got my police clearances.

Now I need you guys help in deciding the following
1. I am planning to get stamping done by going in person.
Do i need any letter from my wife authorizing her stamping?
2. how many days/months/yrs to complete the landing process in Canada after stamping. (approx timeline is ok)
As i im in US currently and i have applied for Change of Status, i dont want it to be messed up by just proceesing ahead with landing in canada.

soop, I am in the US. I got medical exam request on May 29th and the results reached Ottawa on June 14th. My ECAS status changed on June 29th, stating that my results arrived.

I got an email this afternoon for my ppr. I gathered the required documents and mailed everything off by fedex. Thank God the wait is finally over.

Hey Soop,

got my medical request may 17th did them on may 28th. I do not know when they reached ottawa but my e-case was updated on june 19th with "medicals have been received" status.
