guys, my file was transferred in april - in process may 1st and got med request dated may 7th .. they didn't ask for anything except for RPRF...no bank statement or PCC

My friend went to the Consulate and got my passport stamped with the immigrant visa.
Going to Carway in the morning in order to finish with the PR process.

Just a quick update. I received my medical request forms in the mail today. They came in white envelope and no additional documents have been asked for at this time. So God willing my PPR comes just as quick as the medicals. Good luck to you all. Please keep us updated with any changes

I waited the same 5 months to get my medical request.
You need to make an appointment with and immigration doctor. Just go to this link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx

and look for your city and you will get the list of doctors you can go to get the medical done.

This refers to your applications for permanent residence in canada.In order to continue procesing your application we require following
. Completed medical examination for you and your wife .
* Enclosed please find immigration medical forms and instruction......

*Document in languages other than english or french must be aaompalined by certified translated.
*Unless original documents are specifically requested,please submit certified true copies of supporting document .All police certificates must be original.


this means i just need to submit medical right?Do they might call for interview?They didn't mentioned anything for interview?do you have any idea>

Hi, just submit what they require asap..... latest original bank statements or certifications. If u have several accounts, make a summary in excel, together with ur cover letter.
You will be fine. Good luck

I received an email from Buffalo at the time of the transfer. You should email Buffalo in your case and copy the email from LA. How long did LA take to reply? I emailed them about 3 weeks ago and never received an answer

Hello All,
Finally i received my passport back with COPR.It took almost 24 days for passport turnaround.I am planning to do" flag pooling" tomorrow from the Emerson Boarder of Manitoba. It is just 2 hours drive from my place. I am already in Canada. There was option you could to port of entry within canada who has temporary resident visa but it takes almost 4-6 weeks for an appointment. So , I am planning down the south. Could anyone who were passed through this port of entry, share some experiences about this boarder? I am planning to carry all documents with me. Could anyone tell me what precautions should i take while crossing the boarder?
Thanks a lot for your help and especially for Beast maintaining tracker sheet. It was highly useful for estimation for MR, PPR etc. Hopefully you will receive MR soon.

I got medical request on March 10( was dated on 5th March) and I did on 15th March. The DMP has sent Ottawa on 25th March.I got PPR on May 5th. I sent Passport on May 7th and got passport back on the 30th May.
