PR Application Files Transferred from Buffalo ----> Los Angeles VO from Sep 2011

Congrats skFSW....

I am still waiting for my passport back - I should have sent it much earlier. My package was received by LA visa office on Feb 15. It is about 3 weeks now, but I received nothing. Getting worried here. Also CIC online service still shows IN PROCESS. When I entered tracking number for self addressed envelope- there is nothing either - meaning LA has not sent the passport back...But one good thing is that I just called my bank and the cashier check was cleared on Feb 21. So I think it is being processed.....

Any advice on this?

I can understand your situation. Waiting is like hell... but unfortunately we can't do anything. even though I sent 2 emails to them but they replied on the last day when they dispatched it saying it will take another 10 days.

So far I have seen maximum time they took for me that is 5 weeks. So wait for the coming Tuesday. I think you will get it by before Tuesday.

hello ericvirgo...our check was encash Feb 24 (friday) and after a week March 2 (friday) i saw my tracking number that they sent out our PP. We wait for 1 month & 8 days to get our PP back. We thought that in 3 weeks we can get our PP...co'z my friend got it in 3 weeks...and there's some here posted they got it in just 3 weeks. Dont worry its gonna be fine as long as they encash the check it means they process it.

Hi Guys,

After 1 month and 5 days, I finally got my PP back. Thanks for all the support from you. It seems LA office will hold your PP at least for a month before sending it back to you. They also mentioned on their website that any mail application or stuff will take 30 days for processing on average. So be patient who are waiting for your passport. You will get it for sure. BTW, I really recommend UPS for sending and returning PP with LA. It is fast and secure and a UPS office is very close to LA's office.

I will do landing next week at the border between canada and us. will share the experience later on.

My RPRF draft was also encashed on 24th February. I am still waiting for my passports to return from LA VO.

Please can you let me know if your ECAS status has changed or still showing as "In Process"? Also what is the dispatch date for your passports from LA VO?
