Not sure what you are asking.
They are two different things.

Lots of information on this.

erik based on NOc codes can we tell the FSW 1 , 2 or 3 ?

not based on NOC but based on these 3 condition

SW1– Skilled Worker -One year of continuous work experience in a NOC category listed in the Ministerial Instructions
SW2 (new) Arranged employment offer (AEO)
SW3 (new) Temporary foreign worker (TFW) or international student residing in Canada for one year and still in Canada

Check the letter you got from CIO Sydney they will mark one of these 3 lines. VO will review your file on same condition.

thanks for the info eric and skfsw do you guys heard anyone getting MR from LA Vo recently?

Thanks for the reply...I haven't heard of any cases out of LA...seems like Detriot/NY are processing applications faster..

Hi Guys

I came to this conclusion that they are working based on CIO received date not based on CIO AOR date. If you closely monitor timeline for all who got medical or file statuc changed to IN Process. All these guys file received by CIO on sept to dec 2009. Based on this conclusion our file will take some time.

Guys any update this week from LA VO..

hi

my file was transferred to LA on Nov 8, 2011. No update--my status shows RBVO details.

bonny

With my file, it has shown In process for the lat 20 months....not sure how this is affected by received/AOR dates

Hi ,
I got medical request today from LA office. My file was transferred on October 5, 2011 to LA.
The letter mentioned to submit the medical within 120 days for further processing of the application.
But I am concerned, nothing is mentioned on the letter regarding interview. Is that mean my interview is waived or still they could ask for interview? Please reply

hey joss can you please give us your complete time line of the application from the start..

Here is my timeline:

Application send to Nova sc. in dec, 2009
First AOR feb . 2010
send complete application buffalo in May 2010
But they send my application back in july 2010 because I missed filling one column
resend my application back in august 2010
Second AOR december 2010
Status In process- from feb 20111 till present
recieved MR - November 21, 2011
New line added to status : Application reviewed and started processing on november 14, 2011

I hope my interview should be waived...
Could any body tell me whether theyconduct interview before or after medical...
Logically it should be before medical....
