PR application December 2019 applicants or after that

We are all the same I applied January 15th 2020, AOR January 2021, Fingerprints from FBI April, I actually wasted my $50 to do fingerprints with Canada police I didn't realize it's only FBI that they requested. It all done and am waiting for response.

if you applied at any Border. and you live in Toronto. Then go to 6900 Airport Road, Mississauga . Most probably your passport will be there. if you applied for any IRCC land office. Then your passport is with them. So if you live in Toronto. Try to call the customer services IRCC on their number and find out where your passport is and then go to CBSA 6900 office and fill a form. They will request your passport from the office and will call you when they receive it. the most important thing is you need to be having a Landing Paper in order to get it or request it. In my case my passport where at IRCC Montreal and i submit my request and it was sent to 6900 Airport Road and I got a call from there today and received my passport.

There is a bit of confusion as some people saying not to use national passport for travel abroad. So I send email to cbsa to clarify this point and I will get back to you when I had an answer. As some in the forum saying we can use some saying no we can’t use. They are giving references or lawyers websites but nothing found on government website regarding this so I just send a letter to cbsa to clarify. Yes umrah you can travel with ur pr card and travel documents as well.

You can definitely travel with your national passport anywhere as long as you have a pr. I know 10 guys who have done that and come back with no problem.
