PR application cancelled for invalid reason. Need Help

Hi All

I applied for my PR after getting nomination from province of Nova Scotia. In Express entry form for the Travel details section it is specified to provide details if the applicant's spouse or his family members ever traveled from their country of Origin or residence. As my spouse's Brother and Mother traveled to US for some period of time we mentioned those details in the application. Neither me nor my spouse ever traveled to United states.

We received an email for cancellation of our PR application for not providing PC for my spouse's stay in US. We didnot receive any email for providing PC for spouse's US stay or asking for explanation for not providing the document. The Immigration authorities simply cancelled our Application.

Kinldy help for our future course of action.Whats steps we need to take further?
1) Do we need to create Fresh Express entry profile?
2) As our PNP nomination is valid till september 2016 how will our nomination reflect in the new Express entry profile?

Sorry to hear that. Yes, you will have to create a new express entry profile.

You have enough time on your hand as once you receive the AOR, then it doesn't matter if the PNP expires or not.

Wait - you listed your brother in law's and mother in law's travels in the travel history section? And you or your spouse never traveled to the US?

If so, you filled in the form incorrectly. You should only list travels of your immediate family members, I.e. you, your spouse and kids.

That's why they asked you to provide the PCC.

You will have to create a new profile, because the mistake was yours, not CIC's.

I guess this is the confusion the word 'Family Member' created as in the Family section they ask to fill parent's/ sibling details.
If we create a new Express Entry profile how will our PNP nomination reflect in the new profile?

You will have to contact them and ask them to transfer the nomination.

I think you can send a CSE to CIC explaining the confusion and request them to reopen the Case, they might reopen the case.

Meanwhile you can create new EE profile and request PNP to transfer nomination to new profile.
If they do not reopen the case, then you have the second option anyway.

Hello all
I am in the same situation.
Could you please tell me which approach we must to take for transferring nomination from province ?
Approach 1- recreate our profile, mention our nomination in our profile , send our new EE number to province to transfer he previous nomination to new profile ?

Or

Approach 2- recreate a profile, without mentioning our previous nomination, and just send our new EE profile to province , and they will pick up us from pool and issue a new nomination ?

Also , how long does it take for province to confirm our nomination , and what about ITA ?
Will the same time ( around 4 months) take for PR process or it will be shorter as as our document has been evaluated once ?
