how slow is Vancouver VO? seems like people are awaiting decision for a long time.
mine is AOR :may 7th
recent web form request reply was
· The responsible office has not verified the eligibility requirements
The security background verification has not been initiated
The criminal background verification is currently valid.
it is as slow as other VOs around Canada. But it seems for me that small number of applications is directed to Vancouver.
My AOR 23 March and still waiting

yeah from the other thread , seems like Ottawa vo is like 6-7 months. like you said , it probably is a small number being processed out there. i don't see many people with Vancouver VO on the other threads as well.

Hi anyone here in the past with Vancouver VO and the timline it took for a PPR, if you guys could share it that would be awesome.. kind of restless nowadays.

From what I have seen here and there, Vancouver applications are relatively few in number and they take too long.
My Aor is March 23 and I am still waiting

Anyone knows the reasons why the PR applications are taken too long to process in Vancouver office? I don't think the reasons are from the complexity of the applications?

What i have read in the forum..the visa offices get a quota to issue the ppr's..if the vo get less applications, it also has less quota

In my opinion, I don't think quota and the processing time are related. The main point here is that there are so many AoRs that have been in very long process (more than 6 months) in this Vancouver office. Less quota doesn't mean it takes longer to process applications. :P

By quota what i meant was, they have a right to issue only a certain number of ppr's in a certain time period
So even if the application is approved, they can't issue the ppr

"So even if the application is approved, they can't issue the ppr" ---> it doesn't make sense. What are they going to do if they can't issue the ppr for approved applications?

Nothing
But that's how they work
It is quite strange, and illogical but this is what i have read

Just got a reply on my webform saying that my criminality is passed and my security did not initiated yet :(
I already passed 8 months
