Hello,
I recently got positive decision on my asylum. can someone advise as what is the difference between applying the PR application by myself or through lawyer?

lawyers are charging 2000$!

pls advise should i apply by myself? by settlement organization or Lawyer??

The difference is that you have to complete all of the paperwork yourself. Otherwise no difference.

some people say dont get it yourself as a small mistake will cost us long delay in getting approval etc as the lawyer will get done everything properly and will keep tracking the file and will check notes and will respond to the govt!!
i am still confused if lawyer makes a big difference!
i can not afford 2000$ but on the other side i dont want any delay in my application!

I can't make that decision for you. It's up to you if you use a lawyer or do it yourself.

when i entered canada from usa, while i was claiming asylum, i had an appointment with CBSA, i filled and submitted all the forms: background declaration, generic form, family/dependents forms etc.

so i will submit the same documents for the PR too i guess? do you have any clue on that?
