Hello,

I travelled back to my home country from December 2021 to July 2022 ( 7 months).
During this period, I was a student from January to April and unemployed from April to August. (I remained unemployed until December)

I have two questions:
  • Do I mention the period (December to August) in the travel history as a trip or in the address history as my primary residential address?
  • For the activity history: Do I split the unemployment period as following: (May-August, unemployed, country: Algeria and August - December in Canada). Or, do I mention that the whole period of unemployment was in Canada meaning : May-December, in Canada. (If Canada is my primary address).
Thanks

This is what you should add:
(May-August, unemployed, country: Algeria and August - December in Canada)

Your trip should be added to your travel history. Your personal history will explain that you weren't working across this duration in the format above. Paints entire picture.
