First, you must have extensive Documentation on how your life is impossible in your country and your life is directly threatened. No newspapers, documentaries or other general material. This MUST be specific to how you are affected e.g. police reports, doctors’ records etc.
Then are you sure there is NOWHERE in your country where you will be safe.
Also, Asylum is not for bad conditions, better schooling or medical care, or too few jobs or a pushy government. NONE of these will be accepted!!
Finally, One way is to get to Canada and claim..., almost impossible. The other is to leave your country apply to the UNHCR as a refugee and wait. You may not be sent to Canada, however. Better to go to school get advanced degrees and diplomas and try that way. Very few, are accepted for Asylum.

They send confirmation by email. I applied in first week of March but haven't received application number yet.
I thought am the only one applying for PR this year as all the people that I read their post appled from 2017, that makes me to know that I have long way to go.
Hi.. to every one I'm new to the forum. What is AOR? I applied for PR from protected person on November 2019. Still no update. Only email they send was acknowledgement of they received the application. After that no email to date. Still can't check anything online.

Applied online on 05th of Feb 2020
Biometrics submitted on 24th of February 2020.
PR application is in Paris offices for processing
Sent an email to inform that I have got a job lined up on the 1st of September 2020.
Now, still no change on my application status. Still verifying whether I meet the requirements (based on the website)
