If you apply for permanent residence
You need to give biometrics.

If you’re between 14 and 79 years old, you need to give your fingerprints and photo for all permanent resident applications. Even if you already gave us your biometrics and they’re still valid. This includes:

If you apply for permanent residence and are in Canada, you may qualify for an exemption from having to give your biometrics. Find out more in the relevant application guide.

So this is my immitracker timeline

FSW-O (Iran)
ITA Jan 2019
AOR Feb 23 2019
I’m main applicant with my husband and two kids under 14
April 11 medicals went from we don’t need any to we are reviewing you results ( we did them upfront and they were sent to IRCC after two days which I’m sure of because I got the e-medical completed form emailed to me)
I got a ghost update one day after and that’s it. Also my biometric info from last year is reflected in my account. But Since 2019 every PR applicant, regardless of previous biometrics, needs to undergo fingerprinting again. I’ll share the source below

Thank you very much for the info. I didn't know that.
I think what usually happens is that they perform a completeness check to see is your docs are complete or not. Maybe that is the stage where they pass your medical and request for bio. I don't know. Others any thought? @arash2002 is the only outland applicant that I know. Arash if you are still around here, how long it took to pass the medical? Did you do biometric? Could you provide us some insight about these. Thansk

This is exactly what I said. This became in effect since 2018 summer.

anyone with eAOR after Sep 2018 should receive a biometric instruction. I do not know whats the logic behind that as @Mr_nobody said that fingerprint wont change! But this is how it is.

Vaghti oskol haii shodan agent e callcenter ke farghe Visa Office London,ON ba Visa office London,UK ro nemifahme che entezari hast.

I’m going crazy as well, my AOR is Feb 23 and after 62 days, I haven’t been invited for Biometrics yet, are medicals are “ we are reviewing “ for 14 days now. I have no idea what’s going on
Lol are you even applying from Canada?
I have been living in Canada for 6 years and this is my situation...

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that. But I think with the new applicants coming, we get more info on how finger printing works.

About your application, it seems everything is in order. The only thing left is the final review by officer and then queue for ppr. But, God know when the officer is gonna pick your file. Is there any deadline on your notes. Because, there is a high chance that the officer received a reminder on due date to work on your file Hope it gets done soon.

Hey guys ,
I really need your help! !!!!
I am pnp, my AOR was sep 2018, I provided additional documents on oct (ielts for my wife as a second applicant) and we did mistake and put the academic ielts instead of general and after 7 month the additional documents is still under review,
I have already ordered note but after 41 days I haven't received yet, I sent an email and call a couple of times and agents said everything is OK and in order and your eligibility is still under review,
So my question is how we could know if we refuse? Because we made a mistake, I will really thankful if someone can help.

Do not be worry, if you were supposed to be refused you were ar the dirst 90 daysmaximum. As they review your provided documents before assigning an office.
