Hello Everyone,
I am PNP Ontario in land applicant (date 21st Aug 2016). Two weeks ago I received a letter ask for copy of my new passport, since my older passport was expiring on Feb 2017. I send the copy already and they received it too.
Can some one tell me how long it might take for my passport request? And how can I contact cic?

Regards,
Abu

August 14th applicant. Old passport will expire Jan 2017. Received CIC message requesting new passport on Dec 14th. Sent through CSE on the same day. PPR on Dec 23rd.

Yours should be very soon.

I find personally point Roberts to be the best location if you are coming from Vancouver.
I've flagpolled there few times (2 work visas) in past and whole proses was really smooth.
It's very small border crossing with very little traffic which means that you will be dealt with fast.
My friends went there recently to flagpole and it took them less than 20 minutes.
I will be heading there second week of January to complete my landing.

Hi seniors, do I need to bring recent photos for landing at border? I saw some folks mentioning they had to resubmit photos as required by CIC during the process of PR card. Got a bit confused.

You do not need to bring photos when landing at border.
If you have not received PPR email yet - you will need to submit them then.

only if the photos you submitted with your passport is dark or have shadow or spots around face or neck. Walmart photos are horrible normaly most of the time IRCC rejecting it.
