PR applicant under PNP for the month of AUGUST 2015

Hey Guys!!!!

Today, My application will complete 14 months. Since Jun 2015, after medical request I didn't got any update from CIC and online MyCIC shows background check : still in progress.

I just called CIC and spoke to a sweet lady, who said me and my spouse : Passed everything...review of eligibility, medical, backgrounds/security check. No need of additional documents.

After placing me on hold twice, she asked me to wait for final email(decision made) from an officer. But, she also said, as per processing time, it may take upto December for final email.

Hope to get PPR soon

One more month and I hope all august applicants will get PPR emails

When I linked my application online on 11th July, background check was in progress and still it shows as in progress. But, the agent sadf everything has passed.

I also ordered GCMS notes on 4th Oct., have to wait till 4th Nov to get them.

I think once it gets in progress they work on it and they dont update. Mine got in progress in August 18th, and according to my notes it shows that security and all that was passed the next day, august 19th. Ever since it has been in progress even I got PPR last week. So I dont think they update it.

You can contact them at 1 (888) 242-2100 opt 1 then select option to speak to an agent. Call early in the morning or else hold times will be at least 20 mins. in peak hours.

Upfront medical done in December
Medical passed: July (can't remember exact date)
Extra documents requested: June 21st (info on driving offences from 15 years ago)
Background check in progress since we linked account: 3rd June

Documents provided but still showing as outstanding, which is why I want to call CIC.

I am Inland. We sent RCMP pcc in advance. Many of my friends did too

I'm inland PNP PR applicant. On aplication forms it clearly states that you have to provide police certificates from countries that you have lived for over 6monts (other than Canada).

Also once I've received my GCMS notes it shower that they did RCMP check that returned all clear.

I know that it's different for EE and other streams.
