PR applicant under PNP for the month of AUGUST 2015

Hi All,

We did not receive any confirmation email from CIC or CPP-O after paying RPRF fees. Is it normal? We just received automated email when we submitted payment receipts to CPP-O and Cost-recovery... email address.... It shows medical received in our status.. How long it takes after medicals received to get Passport request..?

If you paid online with a CC you should have received the electronic invoice via email if you have provided an email address. Just forward that email to the visa office responsible to process your application or through CSE and you should be fine. PPR from Medical Received dates vary from 2 to 8 weeks.

I just checked and we were able to check application status with our payment receipt numbers.. I think it is fine..

My spouse is still in India.. Do you think she can apply for visiting visa from India (OR) it is better to wait for final PR confirmation.. ? Please let me know.
It has been one month now since CIC received our medicals... Thank you.

It is not wise to apply for visitor visa during the PR process, I would strongly recommend your spouse waits until the PR is granted. Otherwise, if there is an urgent need for him/her to come to Canada then explain that to the visa office and they might consider it.

Go to myCIC, enter with the GCKey you have. add the permanent residency file with the details they ask. If your file will be detected by the system they will automatically link it.

HI ramboj if you can tell how u linked ur paper application in my CIC

Hi! Once you log in to your My CIC account, you will see the option 'Link Account'. Just click on it and fill out the required details. It will search for your application and than you could be able to link your paper application to online status view. It has more updated info than 'Check my application status' section. Thanks.
