PR and CRA

Hello All,

Question for you guys, I applied for PR under CEC in September, I have attached the T4 slip and all the relevant documents to it, now today I received a letter from CRA that you owe CRA, $900+ as per their re-assessment, is it going to a issue for my PR?

my second question to you is the T4 slip which I enclosed with my PR is it accurate or its not properly assessed by my tax consultant?

Hi there,
The reassessment done by CRA will not affect your PR process in anyway.The best thing to do is to pay the $900+ amount and scan the payment receipt. Also scan the reassessment copy sent by CRA, send it to CPC-Ottawa along with your details like File#, UCI, First name,last name and DoB.
