My PG work permit is expiring in August and I still haven't received an ITA. My points are around 492 and it seems like the cut-off for express entry isn't going down.
My company started the LMIA process for me in April and are now doing interviews for the position but I have no idea whether the process will be completed in time. I also have my red seal exam for cooks at the end of May which I am hoping will give me 50 more points.
My question is, will there be an issue if I have my PR application in the pool and also end up applying for a closed work permit at the same time when I get the LMIA? Will there be a conflict of having two different applications under my name?
