Hi all,
I've been digging to see what can I do in this specific case, I applied to my PR through EE on June 6th, and yesterday (Nov 5th) I got a letter in my email stating the next:
I tried looking around here, googled it, used IRCC Help centre and called but they had too many people and couldn't queue to answer my question.
Experienced help would be awesome, thanks in advance.
Note: As of today Nov 6th I went to the consulate here in Toronto to get my new passport already, but will be ready within 3-weeks approximately.
Regards

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa.
I'm from a country that doesn't require visa to travel to Canada, instead I need eTA, so based on the Step 2 of the email sent by them says:
If you hold passport(s) from countries whose citizens need an eTA to travel to Canada or hold passport(s)/travel document(s) issued by the United States, you DO NOT need a Permanent Resident Visa to be affixed in your passport. Please do not send your original passport(s).
You are required to submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments of the passport for you and for each accompanying family member. Please ensure that your passport(s) for which you will submit a photocopy is valid for at least 6 months.
The problem?, my Passport expires on April 27th, 2019 and I can't find anywhere to see how can I update that information or if I can send my current passport photocopies regardless. You are required to submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments of the passport for you and for each accompanying family member.
