i have ques here..cic pgwp list shows that the montreal college of information and technology will be eligible if its course longer than 900 hours..so don't they have courses which have enough hours to be eligible for pgwp ?I think it's Private, so not eligible.
That is surely a question for the college to answer have you checked out the courses they offer plus that is not the only criteria as you have seen ?i have ques here..cic pgwp list shows that the montreal college of information and technology will be eligible if its course longer than 900 hours..so don't they have courses which have enough hours to be eligible for pgwp ?
yes dear..i have checked the website..so there is DEC which is duration of 8-12 months..but i don't know how we can calculate it in hours.?That is surely a question for the college to answer have you checked out the courses they offer plus that is not the only criteria as you have seen ?
You could send an email to the college asking that question. Nobody here can answer the question of what courses qualify so your time would be more widely used if you contact them.yes dear..i have checked the website..so there is DEC which is duration of 8-12 months..but i don't know how we can calculate it in hours.?
So it means..acc. to cic...its all about course duration whther its private or public especially in quebec..?You could send an email to the college asking that question. Nobody here can answer the question of what courses qualify so your time would be more widely used if you contact them.
Yes contact the college and ask them what courses qualify for the PGWP. To be honest you are just wasting time posting here when you could be getting an answer from the college. They will be able to tell you but you have to contact them to be sure. Course duration rule only applies to certain private institutions not EVERY institution. Why don't you save yourself the hassle and go to a public college/university?So it means..acc. to cic...its all about course duration whther its private or public especially in quebec..?
I know there could be a risk..but we dont have any course available in ontario and in cegep as well.moreover, college is saying that there are all diploma courses which have 900 hours .but i am confused cuz i already paid 1100 dollarsYes contact the college and ask them what courses qualify for the PGWP. What have you paid for? It is of course your choice whatever you do but I can't believe there are no courses available in all of the country that you could do. If you are going to risk getting a work permit at the end that is completely up to you but you have our advice on the matter. If you still want to persevere with Montreal. Contact the college. Why risk it: to some its worth the risk. Some of the "students" get visa's after barely passing their exams in their home countries. so they accept the fact that they are not going to get the grades in Canada, specially when they have to work part time as well.why would one rick going to private college where education is sub par as well as run a risk of not getting PGWP. WHY risk it?
